This darkly comic, hilariously disturbing southern gothic tale is a vaudevillian ghost story told by ten larger than life characters. They just don't know there's only one actor in the cast.

1929: An enterprising father recognises a glimmer of talent in his shy eight year old son, and enlists a faded vaudevillian to nurture the child's skills in the hope of making it big in Hollywood.

But when the malevolent spirit of vaudevillian's former showbiz partner stealthily highjacks the young boy's body to exact his revenge and stage a comeback, the Nookin family find themselves on the lam and heading toward a finale none of them could ever predict.
